Which is better in Georgia's humid climate?
All three materials can work in Georgia when installed and maintained properly. LVP is less sensitive to humidity than wood because it does not expand and contract the same way hardwood does. Engineered hardwood is more dimensionally stable than solid in humid climates. Solid hardwood works well with a stable subfloor and controlled indoor humidity. Can I mix hardwood and LVP in the same home?
